Refund policy

At Utopiya, your satisfaction matters to us. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order. By ordering on our website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the conditions below.

Order Cancellation

Once your order is placed, it is processed quickly to ensure prompt shipping. For this reason, no cancellation requests can be accepted once an order has been placed. We invite you to carefully review your cart, size, and address before completing your purchase.

Return Window

You have 14 days from the date you receive your item to request a return. Any request made after this 14-day window cannot be accepted, without exception.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

in the same condition as received, unworn, unwashed, and unused;
in its original, intact packaging;
accompanied by the receipt or proof of purchase.

Please note that our compression tank tops do not have a sewn-in tag; the item must nonetheless be returned clean, unworn, and in its original packaging.

Any returned item that does not meet these conditions will be refused and shipped back to you at your expense, with no refund issued.

How to Start a Return

To start a return, contact us at info@utopiya.ca with your order number and the reason for the return.

If your return is accepted, we will send you the instructions and the return shipping address. Items returned without a prior request and without our authorization will not be accepted.

Return shipping costs are entirely the customer's responsibility. The shipment must include a tracking number. We are not responsible for return parcels lost or damaged in transit; without proof of tracking, no refund can be processed.

A convenient alternative to returning: since return shipping is at your expense, many customers prefer to keep their item. If that's your case, write to us and we will offer you a 40% discount code on a future order instead of returning the item. You keep your product, avoid return shipping costs, and save on your next purchase. This option is offered at our discretion as a goodwill gesture.

Important Information About the Sizing of Our Compression Tank Tops

Our tank tops are specifically designed to provide firm body compression. It is precisely this snug compression that delivers the product's intended benefits: back support, muscle support, postural support, and a slimming effect on the silhouette.

It is completely normal for the tank top to feel tight. This is an essential feature of the product, not a defect.

For this reason, we do not accept any return or refund based on the feeling of tightness or the perception that the size is too small. This is an integral part of how the product works. We invite you to review our size guide carefully before purchasing, or to write to us at info@utopiya.ca with any sizing questions.

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene reasons and due to the nature of the products, the following items cannot be returned or refunded:

items that have been worn, washed, used, or altered;
underwear, compression garments, and products worn directly against the skin, once the packaging has been opened, except in the case of a manufacturing defect;
items on sale, discounted, or purchased with a promo code;
gift cards;
personalized or made-to-order products.

Defective Items or Order Errors

Please inspect your order upon receipt. If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, contact us at info@utopiya.ca within 48 hours of receipt, including clear photos of the product and packaging.

Without photos and without notice within this 48-hour window, we cannot assess or process the claim. Each case is reviewed individually; depending on the situation, we will offer a replacement or an appropriate solution.

Product Variations

Our products are photographed and described with the greatest care. However, slight variations may exist between the item received and the visuals shown on our website or in our advertising (color shades, dimensions, finishes, manufacturing batches). These variations are inherent to the nature of our products and to differences in screen calibration, and do not constitute a defect or grounds for return or refund.

Shipping Times and Delivery Issues

Our estimated delivery times are 7 to 12 business days within Canada. These times are clearly communicated before any purchase.

If your order is still within the announced time frame, no refund can be granted for a delivery deemed too slow. We invite you to track your parcel using the tracking number provided.

Delivery hindered by the customer: if the carrier cannot deliver your parcel due to restricted access (intercom, secured building, incorrect, incomplete, or inaccessible address, repeated absence), we cannot be held responsible for the failed delivery. It is your responsibility to contact the carrier to arrange a new attempt or a pickup. No refund will be granted in this situation.

Parcel marked as delivered: if tracking shows the parcel was delivered to the address provided, we consider the order complete. We are not responsible for parcels stolen or lost after delivery has been confirmed by the carrier.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get the item you want is to return the eligible item, then place a new order once the return is accepted. Exchanges follow the same conditions as returns (14-day window, unworn item, etc.).

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, the refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Depending on your financial institution, additional time may pass before the amount appears on your account.

Initial shipping costs are non-refundable. Only the amount of the eligible item, once received and inspected, will be refunded.
